About Us

OUR LEGACY

Founded in 1931,  members of Post 2290 have honorably served our nation during WWI and WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam, Panama, Grenada, The Gulf War, Afghanistan (OEF), Iraq (OIF) and the ongoing Global War on Terrorism, on land, sea and in the air!


Our Post is named for Thomas J Kavanaugh a WWI veteran who died defending our way of life during the Great War!

OUR MEMBERS

Patriots who served in combat to defend our way of life, VFW members have been tested by the most difficult conditions possible and have continued to serve their country as active and involved citizens of the greatest Nation on Earth!
