WELCOME to Thomas J. Kavanaugh VFW Post 2290 of Manville, New Jersey. Post 2290 has an 80 year history of serving Military Veterans, Military Personnel and the Communities in which we live. Our mission is to fulfill the VFW's purposes which are fraternal, patriotic, charitable, and educational. We seek to: preserve and strengthen comradeship among our members; assist worthy comrades; perpetuate the memory and history of our dead, and assist their widows and orphans; maintain true allegiance to the government of the United States and fidelity to its Constitution and laws; foster true patriotism; maintain and extend the institutions of American Freedom; and preserve and defend the United States from all enemies!
Our facility, managed by the Veterans of Manville, Inc., consists of a Banquet Hall accommodating up to 400 guests, a large kitchen, a membership lounge and dining area and a variety of meeting rooms.
VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS OF THE UNITED STATES
Our members are Combat Veterans of the American Armed forces, who have served in foreign wars from the Second World War, thru Korea and Vietnam to today's wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Global War on Terrorism.
